在英語的主動語態(active voice)中,主語是動作的執行者。在被動語態(passive voice)中,主語是動作的接受者。主動句變被動句的方法是什麼?主持人 Kee 在本集 「一分鐘英語」 視頻裡介紹主動語態與被動語態的基本轉換規則以及在轉換中可用的小竅門。

Hey, everyone. This is Kee from BBC Learning English.

Today, I’m going to tell you about active and passive sentences.

Now, in an active sentence, the subject carries out the action of the verb. So, in the sentence, 『I clean my room every day’ which isn’t true – the subject, I, carries out the action of the verb, clean.

However, in the passive sentence, the object 『my room’ becomes the subject and it receives the action of the verb. To do that, we add a 「be verb + past particple」 structure – so we have 『My room is cleaned by me every day’, so the subject receives the action of the verb.

And we’re done.

用法小結

Active vs passive
主動語態和被動語態

1. In an active sentence, the subject carries out the action of the verb.
在主動語態中,主語是動作的執行者。

  • I clean my room every day.

2. In the passive sentence, the object becomes the subject and it receives the action of the verb.
在被動語態中,受詞變主語,成為動作的接受者。

To do that, we add a “be verb + past particple” structure.
被動語態的基本結構是:be 動詞 + 動詞過去分詞。

  • My room is cleaned by me every day.
